Heema Kaul is a board-certified ophthalmologist. She graduated from Brown University, where she graduated with honors with a double major in biology and sociocultural anthropology. She continued her education after that, pursuing a dual degree MA in medical sciences and MBA with a concentration in health care management at the Boston University School of Business Administration.
Dr. Kaul received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and continued her residency training in ophthalmology at Boston Medical Center. She has also completed a fellowship in medical retina at Duke University. Dr. Kaul has participated in several research and academic presentations at local and national conferences. Her clinical interests include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye diseases, and retinal vascular diseases. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
