Cynthia L. DeAngelis, M.D. graduated from Duke University with a B.S., and then received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. DeAngelis spent three years as a resident in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, and then went on to complete a fellowship in cornea and cataract surgery at the University of Connecticut. Dr. DeAngelis is a comprehensive ophthalmologist providing medical and surgical treatment for eye diseases, including cataracts, dry eye, and management of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. DeAngelis has a particular interest in corneal surgery and has a busy surgical practice which, in addition to cataract surgery includes: corneal transplants, DSEK, Lasik, PRK and Premium Intra-ocular lenses. Dr. DeAngelis is board certified in ophthalmology, a clinical instructor of Ophthalmology at Tufts New England Medical Center and has been with Tallman Eye Associates since 1993 as an active partner in the practice.
Dr. DeAngelis grew up in Massachusetts and is married to a fellow physician and lives locally with her husband and two young sons.
